This workshop explores how autistic individuals experience and express trauma differently than non-autistic individuals. We’ll differentiate features of autistic presentations from trauma-related conditions, and we’ll consider experiences that are common to both autism and trauma responses.
Throughout, we’ll maintain our Gestalt approach, exploring contact, figure formation, and the phenomenological experience of both client and therapist.
